So, yeah. I’ll sit this season out, I guess. All I can play is Junkenstein’s Revenge on Legendary if I wanna have fun.
Last season, I actually played a lot of Stadium, even though I originally hated how volatile that mode is.
Because of builds.
Modifiying our heroes to our liking is an endless source of fun - so long as there isn’t something that is so immensely broken, it cancels everyone’s fun. So everything must be equally broken to be fun for everyone - because if one entity is too broken, no one but that one person has fun.
While I was trying out the new Hazard & Nobodies mode, I obviously got to test my favourtie builds to their limits and found out my meme builds are actually pretty powerful.
Like, I have one Moira build that lets her use endless healing juice. It’s like she suddenly got an incontinency problem. The amount of healing is insane enough to actively counter H*zard and keep up with his cash generation. - 315XG
Then I have another Torbjörn build where I wanted him to become a healer with his hammer. As it turned out, weapon damage doesn’t bolster his hammer’s numbers up a lot, but his other weapon can reliably shut down anyone overconfident. - VXVGT
