I don’t like this skin at all. However, I believe players from Asia will love it and buy it like crazy due to it’s dragon theme in Asian culture.
Meanwhile, I would love to see Blizzard more focused on a Overwatch 2 to be fun and entertaining as promised, instead of focusing on profits from a dead game (which they knowingly killed).
Activision already has lots of money, this skin appearing on a dead game is just a gorgeous display of how corporation greed looks like.
AFAIK Blizzard don’t make the skins for Overwatch, a third party company does, not sure what they’re called

and it has precedent for like 4 years now…they do it each year…they did it again this year…its only a money grab if you dont care about the league and have no tokens to spend
its no different than event skins…you play the game you get for free…or you dont and complain that you dont have enough credits to get the skins when the next event comes by

I mean even if it is a money grab, why even get worked up over it, its only cosmetics, I think it’s absolutely fair enough that companies utilise this method of money making because it doesn’t impact gameplay whatsoever, it’s the most player-friendly money making model and beats having heroes or content locked behind a paywall

ive talked about monetization plenty on here and when it comes to microtransactions ive always said that i really dont care unless its a blatant money grab…ie - they ONLY way for you to get something is if you pay for it (as this excludes giant portions of your community)…
this is a skin thats available completely for free…watch the league (or just have it run in background somewhere) → get tokens → get skin…they couldve just made it so that “watch the league or you cant get period”…its a league skin after all
here you at least have an option

I missed a lot of streams last year (I’m on twitch more than youtube), but I have 205 points left after buying the return skins from previous years.

Now I’m just hoping the skin will look as good or better in the OW2 engine as I rarely play anymore
