Server just went down

I got DCed during a comp game.

Turns out the server just went down, according to downdetector.

Why am I still punished if the server went to sh*t ?

That website merely collects reports from users if they encounter a problem and is not indicative of a problem with the servers themselves (but more likely a network provider issue that impacted a portion of our community).
