My friend and I are both having this exact same issue. We believe it is connected to cross-play since both of us downloaded Overwatch for the Nintendo Switch this morning and the issue started after that. We both had pre-existing accounts on PC and had linked the same accounts to our new games on the Switch. It spams the started and stopped playing messages anytime we do something in game.
I’m experiencing the same issue when I play on a different region’s server. It seems like its trying to reconnect me back to my local region after the game but then obviously can’t because I’m in a group in a different region so it logs me back in to the other server again.
