Her abilities also leaked way before
I’m fine with the lack of teasers, it reminds me of 2016-2018 overwatch where they just dropped heroes out of nowhere, with minor in game clues such as the ana release which was literally just a photo of her in the shrike skin, found in the temple of Anubis attacking spawn, theories floated about and then boom new hero gameplay overview.
And if you have any sort of respect for the Devs you really shouldn’t be wishing for leaks.
Nobody is going to risk their job to leak to this community. There is not nearly enough excitement to warrant that behavior.
The game has too many balance issues the way it is. We dont need anymore playable characters for a VERY long time.
All we need is MORE MAPS.

The new hero is “cute”. They will be a female probably because they forgot what human guys look like I guess. That’s about all we know. Also, the claim that they are adding things they’ve never done before to this hero was made recently or maybe today, I doubt that this has any meaning. To Blizzard doing something they’ve never done before is simply cleanse on Kiriko and calling it a day. Lazy.
Probably because even Blizzard doesn’t know who next hero will be…

They can spam out skins but can’t fo the same for heroes

I miss the time in OW1 where they teased hero’s in game (usually spawn rooms). Sombra’s tease/reveal is iconic even now. Now, well, they’ll give us a origin story a week before and still expect people to buy the battle pass
It’ll be a free flying, multi-discord dishing, sombra invis while moving, god healer who’s passive is eating ults like DVA.
It’s going to be very balanced.
Yea at first i didnt think about it, but maybe they have problems getting the hero done, so they are silent now and leave room for: New hero comes at mid season patch or something.
It’s been known that there are hints in Esperança about, not sure if it’s this next new hero or the one after.
And some voiceline in Midtown.

I’ve looked around Esperança myself and I don’t know. They didn’t say if it was a hint on who the hero is, if it’s something in their kit, someone/something they are affiliated with or something else
Could be a voice line pre-match tho. Maybe use the editor next time to go around and look…
