I’m at a loss. I don’t know, this game used to be so fun but it’s terrible now. In this format now, when someone on my team plays Ball and then the other team’s tank picks someone like Doom, Ball or Hog it literally becomes 4v1 against some raid boss that we can never kill. It is seriously so unbelievably hard to kill any of those 3 tanks with 2 healers and 2 DPS, it feels helpless. For hog, when my team has a roaming tank - it just becomes a free hook fest for him. And I don’t want to hear responses like “oh you’re bad for standing in his hook range!” what the f are any of us supposed to do when the literal game mode is Push. We can’t get near it and our tank is just running around out there, so it literally becomes this game of who’s tank can eliminate the others healers and DPS first, it’s like a race. Doomfist and Ball are almost impossible to kill and have such easy escape. I don’t want to make it seem like I’m only just complaining but I’m also genuinely curious how people handle it? Like if you were trying to climb rank as a DPS player when this happens, I’ve tried counter picking by getting well versed in almost every hero but there’s genuinely no good solution.
As a DPS player, I usually just kill the tank myself. It is the support players who are genuinely screwed and have no options. At least not against Ball or Doom. Obviously Ana or Zenyatta work just fine to send the little piggy all the way home.
If only there was a mobile turret dps character who could melt all that health…
