Well according to the Houston coaching staff, it’s because playing anything else against them is basically a guaranteed loss…even though they themselves won a round against Vancouver by playing DPS and Chengdu + Guangzhou took them to a map 5. So clearly any strategy outside of GOATS against Vancouver is just throwing the match.

You mean according to GM Flame in a highly questionable tirade. Like that was absolute yikes, if Optic had the money to afford looking for new staff he’d be long gone for stuff like this.
Haksal did that twice to Spark’s Sombras as well. I wonder if Brig’s should have “ults” cancelled stat, because he cancelled pivotal Sound Barriers against the Shock as well.
