I was trying to play the new “mirrorwatch” game mode and it was saying “failled to connect to server”. I leaved and rejoined the game and I was banned 20 minutes in non ranked and season banned in ranked

Yikes, it’s that bad now even in non-comp modes? As someone who rarely ever leaves games intentionally and hasn’t played comp for forever, I’m going to have to rethink even playing the game at all at this rate. At least not without waiting a few weeks for them to get the new season issues fixed. It’s become a recurring theme now every new season, but unfair penalties on top of bugs are a whole other low.
A friend and i had this to, but we were in queue for comp when it failed. Sent us to homescreen, we got a 15 minute ban. After that we played 5 games and everything was fine. 2.5 hours later i log back on to find im completely season banned from comp? What is this?!

Yeah friend and I had this too. Never been banned before, played 6+ years. Failed to connect to server twice, had 15 minute suspension and then played 10+ games. Relogged and we’re bother banned for the season. We cannot even submit a ban appeal. They don’t accept any ban appeals so there’s absolutely nothing we can do.

Yesterday I lost connection to a match in Overwatch 2 before it started, was given a 15-minute ban and left the game. Today I discovered that my account was blocked for the entire 10th season. Please check your ban algorithms, as many accounts may be affected.
I am a respectable player and have never left a game of my own free will; it is incredibly disappointing to receive a ban for the entire season.
Same exact thing here. I was queued up earlier and got a random screen saying “applying update” right when a game was found. I couldn’t join and it gave me a 15 minute ban. I played a few matches after that and now I logged on again to see I have a full competitive season ban. I have never left a game before this and hope they fix this bug and revoke bans.

Yup kind of the same boat. Their servers were broken yesterday and not connecting. Then people get perma banned for nothing good stuff. BLIZZARD SEE THIS AND UNBAN OUR ACCOUNTS ALREADY THANKS!

It seems that the problem is in the latest patch with new content (((((
So it´s not fixed until now and still active? The bad thing is, that it causes you to get banned, even when you are not responsible for it.

I have the same Problem. 15 Minutes leaver panalty for losing connection in que. Today perma ban. Pls this isnt right. @Blizzard do something
Same issue. Made a support ticket regardless, this is completely absurd. I’ve had this account for over 10+ years and have NEVER had any bans across every single blizzard game.
Its insane and i have little hope because there is no real human behind the support ticket system. We now got scammed. I bought the BP and now iam banned because of Blizzard. This is scam and not right.
I also got banned during the shop rotatation. I searched a comp game and cannot join because of a server error and a day later im banned.
