im guessing its based on ghosts/undead (“ghost bride” widow, onryo mythic hanzo), pretty convenient theme to base the season around fall/halloween

Nothing was confirmed, until they make an official announcement, they could have decided to drop any work on the hero, just like the PvE.
So until there is an official announcement, mauga is as confirmed as mama hong and jetpack cat.

Any information that is leaked is going to be massively underwhelming.
I mean, the biggest season ever had some of the most boring PvE ever made in a game, and it was worked on for about 4 years.
What could you possibly leak that would surprise me? A skin, whoop whoop, there are like 1000 of them in game.
Plus you could just say the leak like you want it “I would really love XX hero to have a XX skin”.

Seeing as what they were working on for mauga was changed into sigma, and sigma was released before OW2 was announced, then this supposed confirmed mauga release was in development longer than OW2.
Why are people saying Diablo is the collab event? A singular Lilith Moira skin advertised with the Halloween event isn’t a collab IMO. They own Diablo, they use collabs to refer to other IPs not within their own like animes. The actual crossover will probs come mid-season like the One Punch Man one did.
