If they give her Photon Barrier, then they probably shouldn’t make her TP deploy faster.
The range should be increased a little more so the gun is really easy to amp up. Maybe increase thr overall ammo as well,that way once it is powered up you get a lot of value out of it.
What kind of buffs would you like to see? I actually got to play some Sym today, and found her really fun (obv I didn’t test her in comp or anything, just quick play). I struggled to make proper use of her turrets, but I had fun with the TP and ramping up my beam’s damage.
Do you want damage? Different ramp up rate? Range? More health/shields?

My biggest problem is her tickrate, I would like them to decrease it back to 4 so she can put out bigger chunks of dmg unlike the small chunks she puts out now.
I really wish they would revert her. I enjoyed playing old sym. I hate playing and and playing against new sym. I miss the defensive playstyle, i miss my gun, shield and shield generator. The new gun is garbage. Her teleporter is pointless as no one ever uses it, and these thrown turrets are so annoying. She always has 3 out by the time the next fight starts they are all ready again. I’d rather deal with the 6 weaker ones you have to place again.

Reaper also has the ability to port himself across (although it’s a double-edged sword for him half the time), become invulnerable while being able to move faster and reloading his ammo completely and can do extensive damage around himself via his ultimate. He also heals himself for 30% of damage dealt.
Symmetra can…? Wait 1.5s for her teleport to set up so she can hope to try and escape anyone that engages her, and what? They’re not even the same heroes, and some heroes can duel other heroes, that’s fair. Just because someone can duel Reaper doesn’t make that hero obscene, it’s just a strength that hero has.
Its not something only he said, its something ALL SYM MAINS have been saying since she was put on live. I just quoted him because he seems to be the only one blizz is listening to.

He also pointed out that it’s excellent versus shields. Maybe it’s not tuned perfectly, but you’re editing to fit a narrative.
Additionally, he swapped Hanzo for attack in round 3, and then went back to Symm for round 4.
You might have a valid point, but don’t pursue it in such a dishonest way.
maybe its just me, but the issue with the primary is that the charge decays too fast, like one reload and a second of not hitting anything and you are back down to the previous level of charge.
although yes against a team with an orisa or rein (not as much against winston tho), charging her primary against the barrier first around a corner is a good idea.
I just think they should abandon the levels of damage concept. Zarya already has that, and its perfectly done on her. I’m just not sure about the whole idea of it going up depending on how well you track. I think it should just have a flat, pretty high damage, close to what level 3 is now, and then reduce the range a bit or maybe just keep it the same, I dunno.
OR maybe you and I and Seagull are being dramatic and she’s just a lot better against shield-heavy compositions in slightly more specific scenarios. I didn’t watch the stream so I’m not sure what was happening but maybe he was running it against Dive or something, idk.
OR make the tickrate like, super quick, like half a second, but decay just as quickly… maybe excluding reloads?

They should also make it not lose charge so fast. Charge timer shouldn’t go down if you are reloading.
The problem with symm’s current primary is the same issue she had with her earlier primary.
She doesn’t have the survivability to be able to track her target for the period of time she needs to finish them off.
At least Zarya for example has both the health pool and can alternate right clicks into the cycle.
90/135/180 dps please.
This is still less damage than Zarya. Level 1 at 60dps is a total joke for a DPS weapon, esp at this range.
Her primary isn’t even really the problem.
If they let her beam just auto lock it can compensate with the rest of her kit. She’s missing the final key. Nevertheless she still needs a buff for her baseline.
Then you have obviously never played sym.
