Personally, I don’t think Reaper needs any buffs. Or if he does, small ones. My point is, people just follow whatever Seagull says and whatever he says is always right, instead of actually making their own argument and developing their own opinion. They’re sheep.

And I think Reaper needs some buffs.

I am personally not a proponent of buffing a hero with clear cut weakness’s. Especially one with the fire power of Reaper. In fact I am more of a proponent of more hero’s being balanced like Reaper. With clear cut strengths and weakness’s.
Mark my words, if we buff Reaper we will have another Hanzo debacle and we are not even entirely through with Hanzo as an issue yet. I feel like most people are short sighted and do not understand what power creep is…

Why? Because they were not targeted by power creep yet? Because unlike a growing number of other hero’s they still need some semblance of teamwork to use?
Please, for the love of Pete and Joe! Say no to power creep. Say yes to TRUE balance and nerf more hero’s to be more team oriented in nature.

I think you already know reaper isn’t in a good spot but you just don’t like Seagull.
I don’t dislike Seagull, I dislike the sheep that follow him and agree with whatever he says. I have always said I think Reaper is in a decent spot, and only needs minor buffs, if even that.

If you buff reaper because tanks are so good right now, when tanks become not as good, they will be literally unplayable in the next meta.
You don’t buff reaper because multi tank is strong, you nerf tanks, or healers to make it less viable.
I love reaper, and want him to be viable too, but this is not the right answer and is only thinking in the short term once this tank meta goes away if reaper was buffed to deal with 3 tanks, he would make 2 tanks impossible to run

I couldnt agree more with everything you said.
Reaper has had solid buffs over the last year and i actually think hea in a great spot.
He is just not played enough for people to reckognize this yet because of the meta. He is very viable right now
You cant just buff reaper… he is really strong on low ranks.

Seagull said to sell my house and invest in Airline companies.
While he isn’t wrong and it’s long overdue, Seagull is to blame for nerfing Doomfist in the ground so he can suck it.
Also, asking to buff Reaper isn’t some revelation, anyone with a brain has been stating what he needs since early 2017. Blizzard can’t balance Overwatch properly, they’ve proven that.

like it pains me to say anything against buffing dps in general right now, especially reaper, but people don’t understand how much chaos would come from making reaper strong enough to kill of GOATS
Which lead to Mercy’s rework and nerfs.
It’s not just ‘agreeing’. It’s constantly agreeing with every word that comes out of their mouth, no matter how stupid it is. He could say nerf Reaper and people would agree. There’s nothing wrong with agreeing with someone, but at least provide your own argument and make your own points rather than just copying someone and following them like a sheep.

Well atleast he proves himself useful for once and asks to buff a bad hero
Now wait for him to say something different when he gets buffed and get him nerfed again
The problem isn’t people dislike a hero (I mean some do), but the issue comes when people go “Look, Streamer/Youtuber said X. Let’s do it.”
A better way about this is doing something like “Hey, I watched this stream/video where person said hero X should get buffed/nerfed. Some of the points they bring up are 1, 2, and 3. Personally, I…”
It makes it a lot less spamy feeling and allows more discussion. I am pretty sure I’ve seen you along with others talk about Reaper before, but you should use this opprotunity to talk about the points in detail in your opinion (along with potential solutions). Unless if the video is an actuall (ex. the D.Va talk from last week with the OWL/C players and analysis or the Mercy discussion by all the different Mercy streamers), just posting the video doesn’t do much.
Especially if the extent of the video is “Person said Hero is weak. Fix” and doesn’t provide ANY feedback on how to improve them. Like, we all know that Reaper is pretty weak, but Seagull nor Your Overwatch offer anything about fixing them (Seagull technically gives an idea, but doesn’t realize that armor exists because of Reaper).
I already thought he needed a buff WAY before he said this, but sure, have people join along.

Seagull says a lot of things. But hey Reaper does need buffs so maybe if he says it the Devs will listen since they seem to listen to him about everything else. He finally got one right so yeah sure.
