Screen freezes in match but audio still playing

I just had the worst thing ever happen in comp. For some reason, as I died, my game froze. It took me minutes to realize I had to restart my computer. This is very frustating as this is probably the first time I was completely unable to do anything, I couldn’t close windows, I couldn’t go into other windows and etc.

Yeah you’re not alone.

.Any program that provides an Overlay, is known to cause issues at the moment, Eliminating the amount of startup programs will help with this, but double check for any other programs after the restart and close those.

Steps:
Make sure both your operative system and drivers are up to date:
Blizzard Support - Updating Your Drivers and Operating System ← Link fixed

Repair the game:

Close background applications to make sure there’s no other program interfering with the game:

Hope this helps.

I have this problem as well.
I have a dual monitor setup, 120hz main and 60hz secondary.

I’m a casual player and I like to watch youtube on the side while load times and searching for games. however when I place it on fullscreen, the secondary monitor freezes 95% of the time. I said 95 because 5% of the time it works just fine. borderless windowed would work fine and not make the secondary screen freeze. help?
