I’m using my free trial to watch it and it’s still having issues. At least it’s not kicking me out of the stream completely like it did though.
I don’t think they can just flip the switch quickly from what I understand.

Yeah I believe MonteCristo mentioned in one of his Youtube videos that there isn’t just an on/off switch for the technical setup of the stream. They have to reinitialize everything from the computer POVs to the cameras if they want to restart the stream.

I got a better idea…pause the match, storm the production room and kick out the drunk monkeys in Twitch and at the Arena, then come back and finish the matches uninterrupted…
That is correct. The gameplay and the arena is working but something is disrupting the broadcast from the source. Possibly a DDoS.
Well this could be well beyond Blizzards control if it’s a repeating DDOS attack.

Correct, It would be on Twitch to isolate the attacking IPs. Though no doubt, Blizzard CS, the League production team, and their Twitch contacts are very likely working together to communicate and resolve the issue as fast as possible.
That being said, reruns and VODs should come online with no problems later on (unfortunately tokens cannot be earned watching those).

How can you DDos a live stream if you don’t watch it (so not by just millions of viewers which we don’t have here)?
well i can tell you that if you have the volume muted on twitches end you dont count as a viewer so… thats something

71K viewers when my Twitch5 plugin is right. OWL had once over 200K viewers so that seems not to be any issue right now.
