TL;DR: Roles should not be enforced in skirmishes because it is pointless.

I can’t believe someone has not spoken up about this already. Roles that are enforced via the LFG feature should not be applied when skirmishing. I’ve had times where I wanted to have fun with a hero from a different class but I couldn’t because of the role enforcements. I mean, come on. It’s a skirmish. There are no objectives and you aren’t trying to win anything. So it makes no sense to try and make a team that is well balanced. Now you may be thinking “but it’s a skirmish, it doesn’t really matter” but honestly, having a team full of supports doesn’t really make a difference because it is a skirmish, not a real game. The game even says, “Have fun while we find a good game!” but how are you supposed to have fun when you are forced to play a tank when you want to just chill and play Lucio? I just hope that this issue gets fixed in a future patch.

no hero limit would be fun in skirmish tbh, i might turn it back on then.

Skirmish lobbies if filled fast enough will sometimes convert to game lobbies in my experience, so I do see a minor need for this (and no I do not mean joining a game while it’s “waiting for players”).

Really? I have not experienced that before. But the matchmaking system in skirmishes is different than real games (I believe, correct me if I’m wrong) in a way that it puts players of all levels in the skirmish lobby. I’ve had skirmishes where there were gold portrait players. So I think that will become a problem if skirmish lobbies get converted to game lobbies.

I do. I just have it on so I could practice my skills with different heroes.

i mostly play quick play which isn’t dead unlike comp so i only have to wait a couple seconds between matches tbh. :mask:
