I agree. This forces people to play certain roles and restricts people from switching roles

The way they’re distributing the animated spray/icon is actually horrible lol. Combined should honestly be the only leaderboard to get the icon and moving spray.
L don’t like this role queue it ruin the game in my opinion you lost another player.

Awesome job blizzard! You ruined the fun out of an already dying game. Gr8 success.
Role queue = you force us to play how you want, because some snowflakes kept complaining about 6dps comp or whatever the fck? So what? It was fun! Well fck that now huh?
That was the point of playing quick play. To have fun and to have the liberty of playing how and who you want. Why do you force this bullcrap 2tanks 2dps 2healers in a mode where people play for pleasure?
Snowflakes complaining about 6dps because their mommy taught them to get offended at everything? No problem, there’s competitive for that.
I’ll keep this game for the arcade modes for now, but 'till this is fixed, I’ll return to the old skill based quake live game where grown ups play and where no one is an offended snowflake.

I can’t be the only player that believes this “role queue” is horrible and breading a toxic overwatch experience. Fact is that this system has created a less fun overwatch environment. You force people that aren’t doing their best and sometimes want to play another role suffer through a team ready to tell him off because he is having off game. Great job blizzard #removerolequeue

It’s not very good to be honest. I just played 3 games in a row to get my placements and there were support mains doing their placements for tank when they have very few hours as a tank and then we end up losing and the team loses out because the few people that play someone they don’t main don’t know how to play the characters they choose because they actually think they are needing to do their placements!

placements not fixed. Lifetime high/mid plat carried in all my dps games placed at 1910 yesterday. Currently laughing my way through silver.
I have moved 300 points this season last season and the season before in placements.
You clearly don’t put up stats that don’t belong at your rank. Try getting hard stomped all 5 games with poor stats. You will move trust me

Hey Blizzard team, I hope u read this. I think the role queue is a good thing in the long run. However, I would just like to suggest we dont have enough Tank and Support heroes compared to the dps ones. If you want to see ppl play these roles please give us more options so there is a higher chance a person can fall in love with a character. Thx

I really needed to reply this post. You know, your intention was good. But, actually this idea simply does not work.
- variety of Tanks and Healers are very limited. This will result in boring game experience.
- another result is the monotonous games. every game is 2/2/2. I know you have done this cause in some games people did take only fighters and ruined the experience. But this work which you have done, is another step toward bad experience. This time, I cannot switch between a tank and a fighter or healer. PLEASE PLEASE change this. In many games, I have talked with many guys in game and also they are not content with this change.
Before this, I played every day. Right now, I played only 1 hour since the change has been applied.
PLEASE PLEASE MAKE IT BACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION

I like the Role que but it REALLY needs work. If a slot opens up in another role players need to be able to shift to that. I was playing heavy but our support guys dropped. That left the team with no support and no way to fill it. Uber frustrating

I agree. Maybe tank/support can be one role for now. That would give the players a little flexibility depending on the situation.
So far, as a healer main, Role Q is AWFUL.
Almost every match comes down to the same issue: Bad DPS not working with the team. Its the same problem as we had before Role Q, but no nobody can swap to help cover when a DPS is either bad, uncooperative, or outright throwing.
I had hoped for Role Q, wanted Role Q, but now that we have it, I was wrong. It’s worse now.
This also hasn’t fixed the problem at the core of this game: One bad player can ruin a match.
I like to think I’m a pretty damn decent Mercy/Moira/Brig main, but I’m trapped in silver for months and months because every match inevitably has a DPS or Tank who either isn’t in comms, refuses to counter or swap, or who throws when called out about their uncooperative behavior.
I really enjoy this game, but climbing ranks as a Solo Q healer feels impossible. You can get 1 or 2 wins before the matchmaker decides to throw you up against a much better team to force that 50/50 W/L ratio. Or you can join a Group Finder team which falls apart after the first loss every time.
I shouldn’t be forced to find a 6-man team to claw my way out of silver as a healer.

Just got out of a game where a guy named xXGuadakoXx was screaming Nr and Ft over and over because i was playing Mercy.
Silver is such a great place to be.
7 games in a row, all losses. DPS who just run in and die.

so many leavers in comp and I cannot swap roles to assist. lets say I know how to play orisa but not rein, sum1 on DPS knows how to rein but now we cannot switch. this new system is booty guys im sorry. =/

same, 5 out of 20 good matches. DPS do not doing dmg. running gold dmg and elms as tank some matches… and yes im trying to shield as well. 7 leavers. que as all three and only once got support, rest tank. lost 400sr in one night… this game is worse then before they “fixed it”
