RIP. Reaper's Lifesteal nerfed 20%

Back to Hanzo I suppose.

In other news - shadowstep is still an F-tier ability.

Suprise! Math is hard.

LOL. Okay. Let me break it down for yeah.

((x2 -x1) / x1)*100 = percentage change

More detail: Reaper was healing .5 HP per 1 dmg.

Now it is .4 per 1 dmg.

Previously it was .3 per 1 dmg.

Before the nerf it was a 67% increase to lifesteal, from .3 to .5 per 1 HP dmg.

Now here’s where 20% is from. ((0.5-.0.4)/ 0.5)x100 = 20%

Math is fun.

It was nerfed by 10%.

That’s not how math works.

It’s actually still an overall buff compared to what it was originally

It was also only nerfed 10%

Shadowstep is still good for what it is designed to do

Reaper hasn’t been nerfed that much. He’s still good in low ranks by just being up close targets.

50 - 40 = 10

It’s basic math.

OK, let me break it down for “yeah”

50 - 40 = 10

10 percent difference

Congrats on being technically correct but you know what everyone means and your original post, intentionally or not, is misleading.

Need to rework shadowstep to make him viable on high ranks. Life-steal buffs sure will make him strong in low ranks, while on the competent level he’s still easily stunned/oneshotted.

50% -> 40% = a change in 20%.

40 / 50 = .8.
1 - .8 = .20 = 20%

Lol all these people suggesting OP doesn’t know math.

Lets do some math:
40/50 = 80/100 which is a 20% drop from what i was

It is still an overall buff compared to his original lifesteal

You can also say that they took 10% off of his lifesteal. It’s a matter of perspective I suppose

That’s the change in percent between the two, not the overall percent that his lifesteal changed

A percentage is based from a number divided by 100.
50% = .50 40% = .40
.50 - .40 = .10
It’s a 10% difference.

For sure. I’ll admit Reaper felt a bit strong in the ‘ideal’ scenarios, but 20% is excessive.

Okay.

But .5 to .4 is a 20% change. The actual effective healing in game.

I love people calling each other stupid for not mathing correctly when one person is obviously talking about a relative difference, and the other an absolute. All of you guys Learn2Comprehend.

Its a relative difference of 20% compared to before. However its a total difference of only 10%

This is semantics. It was lowered 10 percentage points, which is a 20% deduct in this case.
