Fundamentally? Yes. Lucio is an ‘easier’ healer, when looking at him over the lifetime of the game.
You mention my 100 hours, thats since Release.
I could bore you with the story of ‘idSurge discovers Lucio’ but at his core? Lucio is an easier healer than not, and this is reflected in his win rates, even today.
(I can break that down if you want)
When I say Lucio is easier, I mean at the floor level. He is. Anyone can pick up lucio, skate over to his team, and heal or speed, and get actually considerable value.
I dont feel thats an unfair statement.
To do so on Ana however, well that is MUCH harder no?
The basics of Lucio are easy as you say, and over the life of this hero, I’ve never thought to myself ‘this hero is really hard’. Unlike say, a Tracer, or Ana, or Zarya, I guess, out of the tanks.
Does that make sense?
As to the wall ride change and skill, thats a total none issue to me. Making it so people can stick and float around? Fine, I couldnt care less, as long as it doesnt negate the moves that actually do take timing, and finesse.
