On support i do this. Somebody runs in way too far or pushes on alone instead of regrouping I’m like well they’re dead no way I’m getting to them in time or if i can i won’t be able to keep them standing.
But it’s not our job to be pushed so far out of position in order to do that. I’ve seen teammates push too far or don’t keep los on supports and they’re forced to put themselves in unsafe situations just to attempt to keep those people up which usually results in the support going down and those teammates going where’s my heals.
You’d be surprised. 
And the number of times ive tried to help somebody and i just end up chasing them around a statue or something while they’re spamming for heals is annoying and usually ends up with 1 or both of us killed. If I’m on dps or tank i try to be aware of about where my supports are positioned.
They’re supports not babysitters it’s not their job to be chasing after some teammate to try to keep them alive if they’re pushing too far or something
