Removing downvotes was the best decision made for these forums thus far

I’ve always felt that downvotes on these forums were used as a way for several groups of people to completely shut down meaningful conversation about such topics as balance, design, fixes, etc.

These new changes are a huge step in the right direction for turning the Official Forums from a laughing stock into a place where all players of all ranks can share opinions, learn from more skilled/experienced individuals about balance, among other things, rather than the toxic cesspool of arguments that it was before.

(Also I like the new “Create Topic” tool, this is really nice!! It even shows when you do something like this so that your post isn’t formatted incorrectly upon release. )
