players that dont play on their main roles arent at the same skill level as someone who mains that role. these players are basically SR GATEKEEPING. staying at the same elo and gatekeeping other players from moving up. remove the 3 sr system so these players cant ruin games any longer.

I’m confused what you’re trying to say here. If they’re at the SR, then (unless they got their through malice means), they are the same skill level as someone who mains that role. I don’t play support, but I am a mid-diamond support player. It doesn’t matter if you main support and are in mid-diamond, you’re still in the same rank.

So ur telling me a t500 dps that is an aim god and has a great sense of awareness and gamesense, can’t be even diamond in support or tank?
I mean, how do you know that? Just because they don’t play it as much doesn’t necessarily mean their skill is lower than someone who mains that role.

That doesn’t make any sense at all… what is determining your SR then? So if I’m masters support but plat dps, I shouldn’t be plat dps? I’ll have you know I climbed out silver as dps, thank you very much… solo queuing the whole time.
The thing I can say positively to your point is that my diamond tank stat was definitely inflated in my opinion and I’ve finally fallen into plat, but that’s literally just me playing my placement games, which are so few and far in between that my time as tank is meaningless.

I am not a DPS main, however, because I spent seasons grinding off-tank, I have built up my aim. I got to 4.3k on tank and then in a week I went from 3.5k to 4k DPS. I’m not a DPS main, am I a SR gatekeeper?
