I mean lets be real.
If Overwatch was worthy of forced Leavers penalties and forced remaining in matches This game would actually have to meet the following standards to be considered an actual game to be this strict.
What it would actually have to be:
- Never revised or changed again on Day 1. This includes mechanics of the game and hero abilities.
- You would have map and mode selection.
- Accounts would be 60 dollars each to buy new ones.
- Overwatch regions would never allow gameplay outside of them.
- Crossplay would not be allowed
- Matches would actually be 50/50 coin tosses where both teams are fairly even and not forced WIN forced LOSS and stupid things like the constant 70/30 where players are steam rolled or get to steam roll.
- Power Creep would be removed.
- Supports would not have effective damage kits or second and third-chance abilities.
- Solo Players and Premade teams would be separated.
- Blizzard would have to be explicitly willing to directly sue cheaters and take them to court over it.
But these standards aren’t met. Heck, its a game with NO standards and no consistencies.
its not a “professional” game
so stop acting like it is. ITS NOT! and not even by any stretch of the imagination. and heck, i’d say Overwatch 1 was MUCH closer to being “professional” and more worthy of having things like Leaver penalties in because the game was much more in-tune with itself.
And yes, streamers do say this game is garbage. Because people aren’t willing to hold blizzard to the same standard as they are expecting everyone else to be at.
