Remove Hanzo's HS

Why lmao? If the fight is over and someone jumps off the map, you just need to hit them somehow (not even directly) to get all of their remaining HP worth of ult charge because it counts as an enviromental kill then due to the very small cc.

Small things like that should be considered imo… and “normal” environmental kills can happen.
If it’s not a big deal, we could add it to every projectil and see how it goes. It would be horrible.

Killing is much harder than safely spamming, coming out of nowhere and dropping a rocket.

Sure, grapple and wall climb+roof gliding are a thing but one is coupled with a CD and both of them only work at known spots.
Comparing passives and abilities is also eh.

Then do it yourself and climb.

except he can hold the arrow, we cant predict when he will let it go since there is no time limit to when the arrow is gonna fire.

If he is within 20m its phyically inposstible to react to the arrow being fired, and then up to 30m away its impossible to move out of the way.

You can react to hanzo drawing the arrow, but you cant react to him firing it. unless he is 30+ meters away and then that is alread god level reaction time.

They removed Roadhog 1 shot combo because it was toxic. They need to follow through and do the same for other 1 shots. I feel like the only thing that should directly one shot or allow you to go from 100 to 0 is an ultimate. Hanzo is toxic, and there’s so many BS scenarios where I think to myself “how tf did that hit me?”

Even when I play him myself there’s many occasions where I think huh, because I’ve randomly killed someone unintentionally.

If Hanzo lost his 1 shot then Storm arrows would need to be his primary.

Do you want more arrows in the air?

You can check any stats or source out there and you will find Hanzo dies as often as any dps.

If they dont 1 shot sure.

Just becuase he dies doent mean he is fair/balanced/fun

Explain as the deaths proves Hanzo is not some unbeatable cheat level weapon user that people on this thread seem to think he is

With that logic brig 1.0 was fine becuase she died, she died more then some other supports

I mean he’s not a must pick… what ur point

So far all I see are complaints with nothing backing them.

What logic do you have that Hanzo is unfair or unbalanced?

Fire rate of Pharah/Junk is nowhere comparable to Hanzo. They also have splash damage so even if you miss those you are still able to do damage (especially Pharah since they explode on impact and you can literally shoot the ground and kill people). On top of that their projectiles are much bigger. It’s not fair comparison.

I’m all for removing Hanzo one tap, but he would require heavy buffs to make up for it. He is frustrating but not op and that is his power level WITH one shot. Without it he just becomes trash Torb.

Becuase he is a projectile hero with a 1 shot. With how projectiles work i dont think he should 1 shot. IF he was hitscan i wouldnt care, but becuase of latency issues and hitboxes (also he doesnt have the smallest hitbox) It will eventually cause issues as seen by these threads.

Projectiles just shouldnt 1 shot if they are primary fire.

Also when i say remove 1 shot, its more like i want hanzo reworked without a 1 shot. Becuase atm he is build around that so removing that would break the character. I would just like a rework so he is still a viable pick but without 1 shots

what OWL games are you watching where hanzo is being played?

Meta is 70% Winston/tracer/sombra/ana/brig, 20% Rein/mei/sym/bap/lucio and 10% dva/pharah/tracer/mercy/ana, depending on the map. Its been this way for like 6+months lol

I dislike hanzo as much as the next guy, but I havent seen hanzo played at all in OWL.

Also, in t500, he is outclassed by a lot of dps. For example, current flavour is soldier. For pocket scenarios you want soldier or ashe. For solo carry play you have tracer. For sniper duels you have widow. Currently there is no reason to play hanzo as a flex dps. He only gets picked by people who main him (for whatever reason that would be)

7 hours on hanzo this season. Opinion invalid. Moving on.

No he would just be immediately balanced and gain a few storm arrows with a headshot damage reduction on them.

No he would not as he is built around his 1 shot. As another poster said, without 1 shot it would break Hanzo and dumspter him.

Look at how fast Ashe can 2 tap. Hanzo would need to be able to pull that off or become a suboptimal pick.

This goes into the realm of some people stirred up by being killed by something that is not hitscan. I never understood that as I don’t feel worse dying to junkrant vs Soldier.

Like I said earlier, to be viable without 1 shot he would need to be able release more arrows. So storm arrows would be his primary for example.

My friends have given Hanzo the morbid nickname of “school shooter” since that’s basically how he plays. Half the time kill cam shows Hanzo blindly shooting into the crowd.

Ashe could use a buddy in the slow reload department as way to balance since infinite arrows never made any sense. Mans should reach into his quiver to load his bow if he wants a cheap kill reward.

Several dps including Cassidy can fully reload in the time it takes Hanzo to grab an arrow and draw back his bowstring

Agreeed, i personally hate 1 shots but i know they have a place, i dont think they have enough counterplay but that is just my opnion.

It sucks to die to projectiles, but at least with pharahs or junkrats its not 1 shot, you have time to move heal use a ability ect.

The only way i think his projectile could work as a 1 shot is if they gave it either fall off, or changed its hitbox size to 0 like ana old projectile size, that way it reduces the “luck/RNG” factor more.
