McCree’s ultimate says hello for worst ult in the game hell it’s not even an ult it’s a either a respawn button or a reload.

literally nothing changed with the buff to the ult other then doom being able to get away farther from the fight t ofind a health pack or his supports.
stay on ana, she’s a better doom counter. Antinade ruins him and sleep wrecks him. Brig are a free kill to a good doomfist.
if you have to use an ult to kill them reliably and your selection doesn’t make them swap off it’s not really a counter. Ana is probably one of doom’s biggest counters.
free kill on like… 3 people? heck even McCree can roll out of it in time.

Just because he is finally meta doesn’t mean he is op all of a sudden. He becomes op off your positioning mistakes and not grouping up with your team. If you are with your team he is just a disruptor and rarely gets kills based on you guys having good positioning (not standing near high ground/keeping the high ground when they have a doomfist) and staying together.
doomfist and McCree player here, deadeye has nothing on how terrible meteor strike is. ooh no McCree had ot use his ult to instant reload and get two more kills with his normal shots. … oh doomfist just used his ult to run away to a health pack.

In a meta that favours him but apparently he is this unkillable OP machine even though he has the highest amount of average deaths of ALL the heros.

To be fair, Tracer and Genji got two counters that are supports instead of direct nerfs, and Junkrat got hit pretty hard with his recent nerf. Although Sym’s rework was more for her viability rather than popularity, maybe it was also the fact that players perceived her as a “troll pick”.
what was his recent nerf, all I can think of is when they changed the hit box of his nades to be closer in size to what you see on screen.
IMO, his ult used to be FINE. But the speed buff made it INESCAPABLE.
Public opinion has been against many heroes recently who have had little done.
If Blizzard wants this game to survive they’ll learn when to tell the players to suck it up and git gud. The change has already started, it first began with Junkrat and Moira’s rise and it has only gained momentum with how little has been done to Brigitte and Hanzo.
No more does public opinion get to ruin someone else’s experience because you don’t like losing on your favorite hero or think another hero is imbalanced despite all contrary evidence. It’s about time someone put the boot to your mouth.
