Remove Damage Drop-off from Pulse Bomb

Dude, if pulse is nerfed damage wise.

Why should we buff it so that is has a greater kill radius?

No matter how you slice it, it may have a similar kill radius to the 400dmg pulse but vs a 300dmg pulse it’s a definite increase.

It’s still a buff.

Also it will also affect tanks more as they often have no mobility and will still take the brunt if the Pulse.

Why? We can get Pulse Bomb every team fight if we don’t play bad, it’s a fine trade off. Tracer main btw.

So please elaborate what you want? It seems like you want her Pulse bomb to still continue to do the 400 damage(drop-off start point) when unstuck?

I barely play any Tracer. Not really.

No. It nerfed 2 things. Her damage against tanks and her damage with the unstucked bombs!

The intended nerf was against tanks. The other one should stay the same.

Me thinks that he wants the pulse to have the same kill radius for squishies as before if they missed.

Except that it means that tanks will take more damage as the fall-off is decreased. So it’s also a tank nerf

I think you mean “buff” when you keep talking about how the pulse bomb nerf against Tracer affects tanks. Tanks needed to catch a break (Reinhardt cries out in agony).

So if you barely play her, why are you complaining then? lol. It means you have no idea what you’re talking about due to lack of understanding of her kit. Which is fine! No one is great at every hero.

I don’t need a PhD in a hero to talk about it. Heroes are not completely new worlds that we need years to understand.

It just seems that more was nerfed than intended.

I barely have any playtime on Tracer, and probably won’t ever play her (KulstorEbrou#1130).

Even this makes sense to me. It has a small radius… It’s not like she sticks a D.va bomb on someone and it’s going to wipe out everything in that large of an area.

If it’s a 300dmg bomb now, it should have it’s drop-off radius adjusted so it can still be a huge deal to enemies standing right next to the stuck target.

Exactly! Finally, someone understands.

What’s the point of nerfing when we’ll just compensate. Plus she’s out of control in gm and needs nerfing.

It still does huge damage.

What other weird world are you talking about?

Bring me to that one.

do u play in gm :open_mouth:

I get that it shouldn’t be able to one shot tanks, I can agree and be on board with that nerf,

but the whole thing where it wouldn’t kill say a reaper or doomfist nearby (not ontop of). That’s seems to huge of a nerf.

Yes. Where Tracer is in every game.

I’m not saying you do. I’m just saying it’s really odd you’re making a post about a hero you hardly play. Generally, you make posts about heroes you have a much better understanding of so that your point you’re trying to make is being backed by raw data that you experienced first hand. That’s like a DPS-main, with 30 minutes on Reinhardt, saying he doesn’t need to be fixed.

Exactly, it’s odd because if they were to happen.

I am going instead of sticking the Tank to only get max damage (300) I am going to purposely miss the pulse bomb and stick it to the floor next to the tank so I can get max damage of (400).

I thought Tracer was supposed to reward skill

If they’re close, they can still be killed. If they were smart enough to seperate themselves from the bomb they should live.

They just reduced the kill radius so that it doesn’t instantly delete a zenyatta if he’s caught off guard but the Tracer misses by a miracle.

If you bothered to read the change, you’d know it DOES only affect tanks, everything else will still get destroyed by the bomb.

In this case, not much data or experience is needed here.

The nerf was against tank interactions, but it also nerfed something unintended, which i find unfair for the hero.
