So instead you want to give a sniper falloff damage?
I don’t think that’s any better… In fact it’s almost laughable
Only on an ability not their primary fire. But still, you didn’t answer my question. Why did you twist my words to make them say something the exact opposite of what I originally said? That’s just not cool.
I think he fine. its all about skills shot.
Exactly. I’ve been around long enough since being in the fighting game community to see how meta have to be played out to properly see things through. Look at Brigitte. Upon release, every Reinhardt main just saw it as lopsided match 1v1 her. And now after a few weeks, people are finally seeing with decent match/character knowledge, Rein could actually beat her 1v1. Again, it’s up to the player as she has a slight advantage, but after enough battles of taking on a characters counter, the matchup gets easier and easier to figure out.
My apologies, I misunderstood.
Still I see no need to nerf him. If he’s, as you say “Insignificantly OP” then that alone justifies letting him be.
I don’t think he’s so OP that he needs any ridiculous changes, but I do think he needs to be toned down. OP is OP even if it’s not OP like insta-rez Mercy or anything. And we shouldn’t go nerfing him 6 ways from Sunday, but a small change would do it.
Another thing that I think might be enough of a change would just be to increase his ult charge. He gets dragons a lot now.
As a Zarya main, that is one thing I’m not complaining about ![]()
Riptire on the other hand, oh boy.
If (or when it happens) Blizz pull him back, my guess will probably be his charge time on Ult going up. It feels like he gets it faster than anyone now. There’s like three or four Dragonstrikes a match now. it’s crazy. Add in that Zarya is meta now because of Grav-Strike being the new team killer.
A console junkrat main and a low gold mei main exclaiming what “isnt” skill. The IRONY LMAO!
I think we’ll just have to agree to disagree…
Hanzo has always gotten dragons quickly and him getting them any faster just means the ability is more consistent than scatter. And still they’re pretty easy to avoid.
I think we should wait out the storm like we did with Moira and eventually the community will learn to adapt.
Music to my ears

I know, right? She’s a Knife’s Edge hero, one wrong buff she might be OP and one wrong nerf she’ll be bad. She hasn’t changed at all in months, with the occasional buff thread popping up here and there, and with a few adjustments to the rest of the cast, she’s back in. This is why we got to let the game play itself awhile before changing things.
he doesn’t waltz. he has a wall climbing passive and a movement ability on a 5 second cool down and now he has recon even more often.
Hanzo is strong, but he’s not anywhere near Tracer, Dva, Brigitte, Mercy 2.0, etc, level OP. He’s probably about 20 damage Soldier right now. Strong hero with a good meta.
I’m leaning towards slight Volley nerfs, like increasing the time it takes for him to activate the ability and maybe increasing the gaps between Arrows when fired rapidly, but nothing super huge.
I’m well aware of this. My point is pay attention
If you want to keep him from getting in a tanks face and spamming them to death just make it so that any damage taken stops the ability. This will add some counter play while incentivising a long range, flanking play style.
That’s not what hypocrisy means…
I’m really not too worried about Zarya. She’s just one of those niche heroes who shines in the right team comp. Even if they never changed a thing about her I would be happy, although whenever I see threads pop up asking for slower charge decay I can’t help but think that would be nice.
READY!!!

Anyways, the new ability for Hanzo isn’t that big of a deal. Just gotta know how to deal with it, and counter it. Personally, I think the critz on it is fine. Hanzo should just be planted during it, forcing him to have to position himself to use it, rather than having free roam.
This also makes stuns and what-not much more dangerous to Hanzo, cause again, while using this ability… He is standing still. But, that’s just my 2-cents.
The problem with hanzo right now, is that his rework was release in the current meta that practically caters to him.
You can’t really tell how properly balance he is due to Brigitte disabling all his counter, and hanzo’s ult being the main solution to wipe an armoured team.
TLDR; we will see if hanzo is truly balance after the current triple support meta has passed.
