Tbh, I’ve never been able to see the point of guilds in a game like Overwatch. It’s not like there’s any open world or literally anything that would benefit from that social structure.

Only thing could beneficiate about a factions mechanic would be the lore, if they commit to make lore advancements according to winning factions
