It was. It extended the duration she could be in stealth. The amount of time you have to be in stealth hasn’t changed, though you have more options. That’s a buff.

To be fair, Sombra can teleport almost at will and her invisibility not only offers a speed buff, but makes it easier to get behind the enemy undetected.
Tracer and Genji are both very noticeable by comparison, and need the constant movespeed boost to get into a safer position faster.
I hate playing against a Zarya every game, does that mean she should be dumpstered?
It’s about balancing the character to be useful for players outside of people who use it for income. It’s not about if it’s “unfun” to play against.
Yes, the amount of time you have to be in stealth has changed as they nerfed it’s speed from 75% boost to 50%. It takes longer to travel the same distance.
And I like to add that she can no longer contest objectives. That’s also an option less, not more.

Can we please NOT buff one of the most uncomfortable heroes for tanks to deal with?
Not without a good reason anyway. Just having x != y or x != z, isn’t a justification for a buff. Especially when X has access to a long range (barely eyesight detecting) ability that destroys MANY character’s entire ability to play.
BuT yOu hAvE A gUn. K. Well, when an ability is best augmented with someone who can just kill everything behind or around a tank, because you’re removing the tank’s ability to play the game… I don’t care who you are, that’s very uncomfortable for all the players who aren’t on Sombra’s side.
Hack + EMP + hack was a mistake.

Genji and tracer are the only characters to move that fast.
Winston in a flanker, should he move faster?
I mean 90% of the time Sombra is moving faster than them in cloak run speed so uh…no
Personally, I’ve always thought Genji and Tracer moving fast should be removed considering their entire kit is based around ability/passive based movement as it is.

Sombra’s average speed when factoring in stealth is going to be higher. However, she is still trash and needs some other kind of change. Walk speed isn’t going to do anything.

Well you have to consider that sombra also has 50% speed boost when invis.
Brig hasn’t been able to stop that playstyle for months.
