Yes, but it’s on you to avoid simultaneous firefight with multiple enemies in solo.
And, for the most part, players refuse to back off from such engagement, even while they are clearly destined to lose it.
A fight is not unwinnable simply because of coordination.
You seem to be under the mistaken impression that “playing correctly” means “not taking damage” or “never dying”.
Teamfights are won by eliminating the other team, not by keeping everyone alive.
You keep them alive longer, than enemy team stays alive, yes.
Which, depending from teammates you are playing with, can be only a few seconds, or long time.
It’s just a matter of perspective, you see people killing themselves and I see an enemy team that had good focus fire.
When I’m playing support the tanks are always my priority and I’ll make sure they can do whatever they want to do.
Yes, because good play of enemy team requires bad play of your own team.
Or, in your case, we need:
- enemy team with good focus fire;
- someone stupid enough to charge at them alone, despite said focus fire, and die;
While true, it is entirely possible to keep everyone alive and have fewer deaths than the enemy team and still lose.
Whereas the inverse is not true, if you eliminate the enemy team or force them to disengage every time, they cannot win.
One team playing good doesn’t mean the other is bad.
I think the big difference here is that you bail on your team when it gets too hot, but I’m right there with my team fighting it out. If we die, we die and reset together with more ult charge.
It’s possible to lose either way, so at some point I switched to playing duos with smurf. More reliable results.
Well, I used to have “plan B” ult to bail out my team from that, but I do not have necessary tools at the moment to endure burst damage or make others do it.
So for me it’s either everyone dying or saving myself.
great i’m happy about it, but the discussion is about making bad plays like rein and if u do it don’t expect support.
To be fair, sometimes excessive use of resources can turn “dumb Reinhardt charging into enemy team and dying” into “Reinhardt shatters whole enemy team”.
You are… missing the point.
Action is ALWAYS required to win. You cannot sit back and remain inactive unless you are already winning.
Well, then no offense, but I’m glad I’ve never been on your team.
You have all the tools you need in the support role. There is more than just one character in the game for that reason.
Other characters are really boring for me, unfortunately. I kept Reinhardt alive through such fights, but it was more boring experience I ever had, spamming him with heals.
Which is why I bring smurf. I never wanted to be best player on the team to begin with.
Are you beginning to see this is more of a you problem instead of a other players problem? I am
No, because it ends up as other players problem anyway.
You want to one trick a character on a (low) rank that doesn’t work and you want to be passive and hang back to wait for others to do the work for you.
You are bronze and are expecting people to play good. Trust me if youre stuck in bronze as any hero the fault isnt your team, its you
It does work, though it requires me to pocket specific player. Oh well, not the first time - had to do that even in TF2 from time to time.
You don’t have those players every game, they go up while you are stuck and waiting for the next SR boost
I do, because they smurf and derank from time to time without me
