I been knew this, especially on console He’s BEEN good it’s just people always wanna play these “Fun” heros or heros they “Think” will work like into Sym and Dva and blah blah blah, “Oh but Reinhardt has to get close”

The hammer don’t miss, I’ve BEEN trying to tell people this I’ve been preaching to the chior but nahhhh some freaking top 500 player says “Oh no reins bad rein can’t do XYZ and blah blah blah” especially if he’s enabled I mean thats a wrap, that’s a wrap you enable that hammer GG lay down your weapons.

Yes I don’t believe he needed a shield buff because as everyone guessed now it does just feel like Im shooting at shields all game like its ow 1 (deadstate) all over again.

But my boy just don’t pin wait out cool downs before using your shatter, hell try and hit your fire strikes, but that hammer one thing it does not do is miss.

There’s no need for all these extra complicated (well not complicated but you see what im getting at) you don’t need all these special abilities, you don’t need to be able to shoot and shield at the same time.

Seriously yall been sleepin takin a nice little nap on about Rein, zzzzzzzzz just like I can end the game as soon as I get a Rein player guess what theres probably someone on the enemy team just as good if not better of a support then me.

Im not memeing Im not joking Im not capping, you don’t need to go Rein every game obviously but everybody need to wake the heck up, people acting like his hammer just got invented, like its been some damn mediocre tool because ohh Mauga hurt me or oof what if they have a roadhog, introduce there face to hammer, you don’t need Orisa, okay you don’t need Sigma calm down you don’t need to “Win the mirror”

Yeah Reins “Op” now Reins “Good” Reins “Okay” Reins “Broken” or whatever whatever people out here over complicating every little damn thing, THE. HAMMER. DON’T. MISS…

Especially against Symmetra I’ll take a Rein over winston into that any day of the week.

You confused, watch someone play Rein with the slightest bit of common sense (and or support) and you gone learn TODAY.

Reinhardt is really only oppressive when paired with Juno/Lucio/Kiriko because speed boosting Reinhardt is nuts, you just run over all squishies.

Rein is OP in OQ. He has WAY too much shield health in that mode because it’s not reduced at all. He’s regularly played over there and just walks all over enemy tanks who have no shield.

Even i thought the shield buff was weird.

Nobody wants more shields it encourages the worst playstyle he has.

Rein with Lucio should be illegal

But by himself he’s actually a good tank and he’s been at least B tier for like a year now

This. Reinhardt is not OP; his team’s capability of enabling him makes him a FORCE. Perhaps more than any other tank, Reinhardt relies heavily on his support line. And this game is currently offering a healthy mix of support utility tools to make him terrifying.

If you play against a Reinhardt that you’d consider is an OP god, I guarantee you its a combination of him knowing how to blend aggression and space with ensuring his survival + he’s got a very competent Ana or Lucio that’s not getting dove/distracted/pressured.

I will say this though: as with all tanks nowadays, counters seem to be much less effective. If you play Mei, Bastion, Junk, Pharah/Echo, Zenyatta, Reaper, Hanzo, etc. that you’d any other day consider a counter to tanks or Reinhardt’s effectiveness… yeah, it’s definitely much less these days. Which is good for Reinhardt, but can lead to some very “he’s just not dying” type of stagnation. It’s all about removing Rein’s support, which is easier said than done I know.

Junkrat is still a great Reinhardt counter I’d say, especially with how Armor is now. You need big chunks of damage to get through Armor HP now.

Rein is really strong until you climb to a rank where players have brain cells, then suddenly no one can play him anymore because of how easy he actually is to deal with

Don’t forget the armour change that benefited him disproportionately. He’s not a tank now, he’s a brick, similar to Orisa, and most of us know how boring she is.

Make tanks fun again, ffs.
