Which is obviously why they main him - because heās clearly the weakest hero in the game. (sarcasm btw)
They donāt actually want to think or consider why people might hate the character other than the possibility that they might lose to a Doom.
You can list a book of complaints about the hero, and all they will come up with is that heās weak, and youāre just bad. It couldnāt possibly be that the hero features a very poor kit design.
Theyāre just going to put their fingers in their ears, close their eyes and pretend that these complaints donāt exist. And that youāre just whining because you lost to a Doom once.

Doomfist was never meant to be the counter to Rein.

Wait so why didnāt your hanzo switch off hanzo to a more anti-barrier tank character? Junk rat i can understand being good against rein but you canāt just run up to him and tickle his chin hairs, he knocks people around with his hammer and belive it or not Junkrat needs a little bit of accuracy to play when not in a closed off room. Itās why he is less effective against other tanks.
You could definatly do more, and iām not blamming you i blame the dps line up you had. If his shield was down you could have slept him and he would have taken a lot of damage, But again that is the job of either of your DPS and not for a support. Everyone acts like him having a 30% knock back reduction is making him immovable but say a character gets knocked back 9 feet Rein still gets knocked back 6 feet. Itās not all that much in the end, itās just enough to make him have less recover time. People have line ups that arenāt meant to handle a barrier tank (like hanzo and a Junkrat who didnāt seem to be handling the barrier) and hear that Rein got a buff and blame that instead of having a team comp to deal with rein. Now idk what your tank line up was but if you had a barrier tank and your hanzo switched to Bastion the rein would have been in a very rough place. Or if he switched to someone like reaper he could have helped with the barrier, but hanzo suffers quite a bit against barriers.
Checked this man out can vouch (he has like 100+ hours on rein) that there is more than one rein main on here (one more skilled with german engineering than me) that has no idea what anyone means when doomfist was the one stop in our crusade of power. Heās a hero who can fight rein, but not the only one.
i would actually say any hero is in an ok position against rein, at least when it comes to 1v1, rein wont win unless his prey is packpeddling and hits accidentaly a wall.
point 2 i just made my first DF game to get in the position of DF mains who deffend it takes a lot of hours to play it. dafook? u know im over 100+ h on rein and barely 10 mins now on DF and never felt so ez to get kills lol , just e shifted people then RP and job done, maybe i need 10 more minutes to masterize my shots instead of using rp but nothing that hard as iāve heard about it
I play Doomie and I donāt want to see a buff like that. Its not what the character needs.
Doomfist needs his punch to be blocked by shields IMO
the only character with anything comparable to Rocket Punch is Brigitteās Shield Bashā¦
which doesnāt go through shields for obvious reasons
I just donāt think itās OK for Doomfist to have the ability to punch a support behind a barrier then just get the heck out of Dodge with his other abilities
and be ready to do the same thing again in 6 seconds
