I’m just curious as to why the first hero release after launch is going to be a tank. Like you removed a tank slot. hero selection per player slot is insane. Once OW2 releases, it will be 10:1 for tank 9:1 for dps and 4:1 for support. I’d release it as season 2 supp, season 4 tank, season 6 supp season 8 dps. 40% of the team is now going to be support. I feel they should have more to choose from cause only one is going to get to enjoy new content vs the tank who will have JQ to enjoy at release.

They’re adding MMR decay but didn’t mention any SR decay.
There are some other changes mentioned in a recent Forbes interview. Rank will no longer be adjusted after every match. Instead, it’ll be adjusted after every 7 wins. I’m guessing SR won’t be visible to the player at all. They didn’t mention SR gains or losses, but it sounds like they want comp to be a grindier experience.

The requirements info says there’s one. I imagine that if there truly wasn’t one, they’d have no reason not to just say so. If they didn’t address it in the AMA they either don’t want to cause a fuss or they don’t think it’s important enough talk about.
I really wish they’d say something about it. It’s the only reason I haven’t bought this watchpoint pack.
The doomsday is what’s going to happen to the players’ wallets. And Activision will definitely be relishing that.

This post actually confirms what I’ve been saying all along : There’s no new big content on Day 1 of F2P Overwatch because there are only 3 new heroes and a few maps ready to be launched.
I don’t see in what way I’m getting “slaughtered by devs” 
… as they just proved my point.
I guess you’re aiming at those who complained about the cost of the Battle Pass. I’ve never minded the BP. I wished we had one sooner on OW1.

Do we get the virtual credits (or a part of it) back when we made it through the battle pass, the way Apex Legends does, for instance ?
Is PVE confirmed to be for free or will it be a separate DLC like Jeff Kaplan announced it years ago ?
