Mainly just because I am neck deep in grading papers in a very difficult class and have approximately 0.0004 minutes of spare time a day right now.

Adulting can kinda suck sometimes.

I tried playing comp CTF. In 3 placement matches in a row i got leavers in my team. Itā€™s really hard to have any drive to play after that.

Chinese new year is one of my favorites because itā€™s a non Western event and I really loved seeing them incorporate Asian culture into the game. But that was funā€¦ Once. I expect things to grow and expand. The lack of content for events is just disheartening in general. I would have loved a mini pve, a yotp yeti Hunter special, something new beyind just skins. And part of it is that the heros I love are justā€¦ Not fun anymore.
Every single hero I liked had their entire just or playstyle worked away from me. Sym, sombra, torb, Hanzo, brig, and even mercy. Iā€™m just tired. I donā€™t want to play because apparently sombras style isnā€™t fun to the kephris and xqcs so I get to have sniperwatch and watered down ctf to cater to people not good with ctf heroes. I literally canā€™t even play arcade for the fun designed for me because balance is catered to literally anyone other than me. Like itā€™s not even just normal qp and comp. Arcade. Is. Not. Fun. Wtf thatā€™s tragic.
The event isnā€™t failing for me. Itā€™s just reminding me even more that the game doesnā€™t care about good game design, diversity or Excellence. Which is the only reason I even got it.

Seriously though, that sucks. And, thatā€™s another reason why Iā€™m playing regular CtF. At least, in that mode, we have a chance of getting a backfiller

No roadhog skin, so i have no drive to play the event. Itā€™s still the same CtF crap we had the past two years. Resident Evil 2 is out and KH3 is coming this week. No need to waste time on a rehased event.

  • no new game modes which are the most important things of all
  • hero balance is all out of whack

Overwatch has lost its magic. Its been handled terribly and it only geared towards OWL. Its dead. It has lost any fun it once had. Its annoying and stressful.

Really sad to see such a good game go to waste.

BF5 on the other hand is a total blast. 2nd patch this month comes out tomorrow. Even in its buggy premature released state, its still 100% more fun than Overwatch.

Not just this event in particular. ALL the events have been lazy rehashes. Nobody is excited for this anymore.

  • look at the skins,
  • think ā€œneatā€.
  • Buy the skin you want and then
  • you move on.

well all i like to play is ranked and theres no role queue so i get into a game rolling a dice hoping i get my role, not really having that great of a time

Game is garbage, balance is garbage, nothing new aside from skins that I canā€™t be bothered to get the coins for since my RNG for lootboxes are garbage.

I have no drive to play this crappy game anymore. Iā€™m close to giving up.

As a tank main, I like the changes. My favorite tanks are Winston and Roadhog, so the game is at least moving in a good direction for me.

IS TRASH, the skins are pretty bad and thereā€™s so few of them, is like the devs dont care about the game.

Because nothing has changed. Iā€™ll being playing a ton of Civ 6: Gathering storm when it comes out, because that is an expansion with exciting new changes! :+1:

Im at 1,100 hours ish, of gameplay. Normally I play 4-6 hours per day. and prior to Mercy Nerf, I was playing 8+ hours a day with my MERCY FRIENDS. :slight_smile:

This patch and eventā€¦ I am playing roughly 1-2 hours PER day now, only and have LEFT plenty of matches because the players are just too much to bare in the games, to the point where I want to play the game, but cannot do so.

Im here to have fun, not to play a game and deal with someone elseā€™s issues.

Here is why:

  • All of the players in these matches are more TOXIC as heck, than ever in the matches. Iā€™ve seen NO reprimand notifications either.

  • The system is taking me, as a solo que player and putting me in grouped-Que teams which were premade outside the game, Both which target individuals that have no supporting team member, AND they are outright, BOSSY and demanding folks that want the individual solo player to do their bidding. These people are ONLy chatting in ā€œgroup chatā€ and do NOT use team chat.

Part II.

  • The Win/Loss rates are AWFUL right now.
  • The gameā€™s performance engine is really bad right now. Even WITH the new RTX 2060 installed
  • The Mercy Player base has talking points they want heard.

More talking points.

  • N/O but the skins are recycled costumes from Mists of Pandaria. Iā€™ve already collected ALL of my Cosmetics in that game from when they had it back then in - World of Wacraft.
  • Nobody is playing tanks or even wanting to play tanks this patch.
  • No special event that is in the Arcade mode screen. At least Lunar fest on World of Wacraft, gets a Giant 2-headed dog that a group has to fight to earn loot. :slight_smile:

Boring recycled event, trainwreck of a balance, mercy still not reworked, have less time to play iā€™d better off playing anthem in weekends, reaper is the only worthwhile skin and i still have 3k coins to buy.
Maybe iā€™d hit 1-2 qp games on weekdays only.
