Other than that, I consider Forced Queue to be the very worst change ever to be made to this game, bar none, hands down

Except I wasn’t asking what you thought of role lock. I was asking IF YOU LIKE IT, WHAT DO YOU LIKE.
You don’t have to bring your negative BS into that. You could move on. You could ignore the thread entirely. You could join the bandwagon of people who are screaming Armageddon over role queue in all the other threads instead of ruining something that has nothing to do with you.

I love Role Queue because I actually get balanced teams now. Before I would always be on a team of 6 DPS against GOATS or something. Matches feel more even and are a lot more fun, even if I’m losing.

if one wishes to not see what is said to have been brought into the thread in the statement quoted above, one probably shouldnt make statements in that same thread that include phrases like “because someone else took your toy? Grow up”

No one took anyone’s toys.
I mean even some of the most positive posters on the subject are still very much in the “give it time” phase, because everyone can see that it is currently a mess.
Whether that’s time for MMRs to adjust, or for balance changes to work through, or for people to settle down with roles instead of experimenting with roles and heroes they never used before.
And that’s absolutely fine for now

I think we should just mass flag this post because of the title. These darn not-haters. Polluting our forums.
I like being able to queue for dps in QP and learn tracer. Comp feels so much better now, I think I’m going to play more of it.

Role queue would be fine for a different game, but Overwatch is about hero switching. RQ goes against what this game has been for the last 3 years. it dictates to the player base what a team comp should be, it punishes dps players by increasing queue times substantially. it punishes flex players by forcing them to take a loss when they could switch roles with a poor performer to increase their odds of winning.
There is nothing good about role queue unless you’re a person who likes to force other people to play a game only in a way that you approve of.
