I’ve been playing tank mostly since Role Queue was enforced in comp, but sometimes I’ll hop over to DPS. Today and yesterday I’ve realized that at some point, in no matter the game, I’m forced to either pick Mccree or Mei because there’s just a Reaper walking through our team with minimal effort.
And it’s really not fun.
I don’t enjoy playing Mei or Mccree and the way Reaper is right now, you have no choice, because he will be in EVERY game. The same thing with Doomfist (being forced to pick Mei or Mccree), but that’s a different tangent.
Reaper right now just walks in, destroys, and wraiths out. Hack doesn’t work on him because all his weight comes from primary fire and life steal. Junkrat nor Soldier 76 can kill him fast enough before he wraiths or already does the 2-3 kills. Ashe can’t do anything to him. Pharah is so bad atm that you basically make it 4 v 6. There’s just nothing you can do to him other than CC or instagib to stop him. You rely on hook, or flash bang, or freeze, and all that does is make every game a stale mirror match because you just see the same handful of heroes over and over.
They really need to lower his life steal a tad. He should not be able to shadow step behind a team, kill 4, and wraith out untouched unless you instantly CC him to death. CC and instagib is something that IMO is the low point of this game and it’s right now the only thing to deal with half the viable heroes.

He has so much in common with Moira, many haters, people calling him no brain etc.
You can really tell that Moira had something to do with his change and I love it.

Why are you on every post? You have some obsession with Moira.
But yeah, they’re both low skill high reward heroes. Nerfs are inevitable and can’t come soon enough.

It’s looking like the change from soul globes to straight life steal was a bad one
Moira’s range is crazy, she can factually kill flying pharas on most maps and ultying Mercys too. That needs to be nerfed.
And I main her so yeah, not a hater.
Reaper is so OP right now with role queue, I hope they really lower his LS to 30% again because he is SO ANNOYING.
Shadowstep is completely silent and needs one more second of cooldown.
And I use reaper too and with a certain degree of success so again, not a hater.
And I too am so really annoyed about all the reapers I see that just do whatever, they just run into your face from 10m and they can still stay alive long enough to close the gap if you don’t/can’t headshot.
I can kill them with Ana but usually they get me and I get them at the same time.

Which is easy. Since footsteps don’t work right. I vote fix footsteps to nerf him.

Yea i know what you mean this is why i put reaper as priority number 1 and try and help and assist my tanks i also try to spawn camp him as well so i can focus on doing my job

Turn off your music/youtube in the background. His footsteps are pretty loud but can be lost in the middle of a teamfight.
I haven’t had the music on in 2 years. Nor do I play anything else. It’s the garbage game. Once 3 people are fighting, rear footsteps go dead. I’ve intentionally flanked as Zarya, attacked like 4 people before they knew where I was. Escaped with no problem. All while not crouching.

This is called using a distraction. Waiting until there is enough noise to mask the nosie you’d make.
So what’s the point of footsteps, nothing. And I heard these footsteps in the first year of the game. Also, i tested this. I flanked once and spammed my voice lines. Everyone heard me threw the gun fight. “In Russia…In Russia…” shot dead. Oh, now you can hear me.
