I know this is meant to be kind of a joke, but people aren’t actually paying attention to the fact that reaper has a kid out there. From a lore perspective, that adds a really cool layer to his overall character… why would Reaper want to leave his family, even after turning evil? Does he feel he failed his son/daughter and can’t show himself to them again? When he’s watching the family together in reflections, is that his wife and child, or is it only his child as the family is pretty young? And if it is his wife, he could easily do something about her new family, but chooses not to… is it because he knows in the state he’s in now that he couldn’t give his family the life that they deserve? It reminds me a lot of Spawn for anyone who’s familiar with that.

These are the questions that SHOULD be on the forums right now, but instead we have countless threads on “Uh oh gays” or “Yay gays”.

I just dont see why he has to be a parent. Just leave him children-less like everybody else. Im not against parents, i just dont think they should be in games.

Again, I get the sarcasm, but the idea of all the characters suddenly wearing crocs and socks, or socks and sandles, while holding beer cans, grilling out, and making dad jokes just cracks me up inside. I appreciate that.

You see it the way I do too, I just made this thread to make fun of all those other asinine threads about Jack being gay.

When I read Bastet, I was more mind-blown that Gabriel is a father then Jack being gay.

It didn’t even make me pause to think about Jack. But Gabriel being a dad? The freaking Reaper, who modified/disfigured his body, did that without even considering his wife/kids. That is messed up man.

This thread was made to poke fun at all the people upset about Jack.

I used to play reaper because I identified with being a grim, dark, grim dark edgelord.

Now the totally unwarranted parenting agenda Blizzard has forced onto us is making me physically ill.

I mean, I’m totally not a patriphobe (nor matriphobe) - heck, my own mom and dad are parents- but I will not stand idly by while this outrageous outrage outrages the outraged.

And to have it be forcefully rammed down our warm, slick, velvety throats like this, in a fan-fiction-quality short story, where it sticks out like a sore thumb, is the ultimate insult. I mean, who brings up their family when talking to an old friend you haven’t seen in a long time? Especially an old friend who already knows about them? That’s so unrealistic that I vomited all over my keyboard when I saw it.

I know the PJW’s have been pushing hard for a parental hero- the forums are littered with posts like “Make Mercy a Mama” and “ZOMG HAMSTERS HAVE SO MANY CHILDRENS!!!”, but I mean, COME ON, we already have Ana and Torb as representatives of their chosen lifestyle! Statistically only 100% of people who ever lived had parents! And you make it seem like having children is normal! What a sick joke.

And before anyone claims being a parent isn’t a choice, it is so totally a choice (except in places where rape isn’t prosecuted, and birth conrol and abortions are not available, like Mississippi).

I am tired of Blizzard constantly pandering to the deviants who want to make more people suffer on this planet with their disgusting lifestyle choices.
