Now obviously we don’t know what exactly will happen to Reaper.
But it seems that Geoff hinted at a cancel-able wraith form.
This worries me. Wraith could be cancelled. But it would have a bigger shooting delay…
I honestly don’t know if that 2nd half should be implemented. For a lot of reasons
- There’s already a slight delay going in and out of wraith
- The wraith reload buff seems to be in the opposite direction of a shooting cooldown
- Both of Reaper’s abilities are currently “all-in” so unless Shadowstep is buffed too…
- If the goal of a Reaper+Mei buff is getting ahead of a tank meta. Reaper would wraith cancel around tanks a lot, where the tanks would always land the first shot while Reaper has to wait the extra [x] seconds
- finally, Reaper needs a decently sized buff. I just can’t see cancelled wraith+shooting cooldown helping as much as it could.
Again, we’ll have to wait and see.
