But with 35% he could recover 336 hp in 4 seconds (8 bodyshots,42×8)

Imagine starting your argument with “bronzie”. I know you think Reaper is nothing cause you snipe from other end of the map, but most tanks don’t have that luxury.
Which is ridiculous. This is more then Zen can heal, a DPS passive should not give more healing then a dedicated healer.
Imagine they made him as fast as during the beyblade meta when nano still gave speed boost. That would be hilarious. But they never gonna do that.
I feel like they either need to increase the reward for how easy it is to shut down. So buffing the dmg by like some good amount like 30% or so.
Or they need to give him more CC resistance.

3 Zen can heal for how much he likes
1 Reaper heals only when he does damage
2 Reaper needs to be 1 meter for recover 36 hp with one bodyshot at the moment

I’d also like to add that Zen plays in a far safer range than Reaper, the backline, while reaper will either be in the frontline or flanking.
Its a good buff but not really gonna change anything, Ill still one shot reaper as hanzo lol. I get a thrill when I see reaper trying to teleport, its the easiest kill in overwatch. Reaper really needed a long range attack or some form of gaining speed while getting kills to snowball better. Ill take whatever though, reaper doesn’t even exist from diamond and up.

Which is poor design healing should never be necessary to keep you in the fight, even worse healing that is completely automatic without requiring the player to do anything.
Give him the ability to dodge shots to keep himself alive, or anything that actually requires the player to do some input.
As long as Roadhog can 1 shot Reaper he is not a proper tank buster. Roadhog does more damage and has better survivability than Reaper and 3x the HP.
Still 4 when the entire enemy team is focusing you (which will happen), a tank won’t last long. The only way a single tank is hard to take down is if everyone goes off flanking and nobody fires at the same target.
2 tanks needs something to burst one down quick. With only 1 tank, you really don’t because they already go down really quick even without a tank buster.
i mean the actual damage over time effect, not the movement speed
it takes like a full 3 seconds to unload a death blossom, and that was fine back when the game launched, but not so much nowadays

4 is still 1 less than 5 players and the off tank is a huge dmg source missing.
The devs straight up said on stream that the solo tank in OW2 is actually more survivable than the tanks are right now. To quote " they make it out of situations they normally wouldnt."
2 supports dont have to split recources between 2 tanks anymore but can pump all they have into the single tank. Also the tanks will be buffed and provide passively less Ult charge which means there will also be less Ults per game they have to deal with.
Buff the damage if you hit fewer targets with Death Blossom. Reaper should be able to solo-ult a Roadhog to death. Currently it does 170DPS to all 6 players which is up to 1020DPS if you hit the whole team. Imagine that on a single target… but even with that change, Roadhog could still live for awhile if he’s full health and TaBs when he gets low as he has 600 health + 300 health at 50% damage reduction… so 900 total health but 1200eHP while taking damage during a TaB.
So even with that massive buff, it’d still take over a second to kill a Roadhog with Death Blossom, longer if he’s being healed, especially if he’s naded before he TaBs. Then his health would be 600 + 450(2) + 100 = 1,600eHP not considering up to two main healers dropping heals onto him. It could take DB 85% of its duration even in that scenario to kill Hog. Let’s do some math…
Ana does 175HPS under the effect of nade, and then Moira does 135HPS with Spray+Orb x 50% heal boost so 202HPS. We take 175HPS + 202HPS = 377 HPS x 4 second nade duration is another 1,508 health healed.
DB lasts 3 second and in theory could do 1020 single-target DPS. So Reaper solo-ults Hog from full health, Hog tabs after half a second at 90HP healing 450 HP over 1 second at 50% damage reduction as Ana nades him and Moira orbs and sprays him which cuts DB down to 510DPS with the TaB damage reduction. So…
90(base health) + 100(nade healing) + 450(Tab) + 202(Moira) + 175(Ana) = 835HPS for 1 second - 510 DPS = 325 base health after another full second.
So two second of Death Blossom have passed and Hog is still at 325 health, however, the damage reduction from TaB is over and DB is doing its full damage again. 325 + 195(Ana+Moira healing) = 520 health / 1020DPS, so Hog dies in the next 0.5 second.
Meaning that against the worst case scenario for this buffed Death Blossom, it takes 2.5 seconds out of its 3 second duration to kill Roadhog while he’s being healed.
