Really hard to report leavers

But clearly the punishments aren’t enough because they still bail. Where I play in high bronze low silver itnhappens constantly.

I accept your answer and in fact its happened to me a few times but I woild argue, since you know theres no backfill in comp, ypu avoid playi g comp if you are having DC issues. However, as a player in the game, it’s pretty easy to differentiate between a rage quit and a true DC based o. The way the game is going and because most DCs rejoin at some.point. stop apologizing for the whiny children who cant stand to lose a game. We can almost always tell the difference.

You’re woefully mistaken to assume I’m apologizing for leavers.
All you have to do is read through the history of my posts about how pro penalty I am for habitual leavers.

Your best bet is to not respond further & pretend you didn’t see this reply, or admit you misinterpreted what I was saying in my earlier post.

Ok I may have misinterpreted ypu reply but as a console player solidly in the metal ranks, I still think its reasonable to be able to easily add early leavers to my avoid list and, at least in the Playstation UI, theres not an answer I can find. If ypu have a suggestion for something I’m missing, I’d be happy to hear it abd I apologize for any offebse I may have caused. I posted those commebts on a particularly frustrating night and may have targeted you unfairly.

100% fact.

The only thing bans do is liberate the player from any future penalties as they can start a fresh new account and be even more horrible.

No problem, it’s cool.

It would be nice to have a better recommendation, but there’s not much to go by. I don’t like habitual leavers just like you. But the problem is most players we come across regardless of their reason for leaving, is not something we automatically know the reason for.

I tend to think most players leaving early in most situations get frustrated. Especially when you see that Genji player get melted during their 2nd or 3rd blade attempt.

But I’ve personally been booted from a match because of a Blizzard side issue, or my internet. It’s rare for that to happen to me. But from another player’s perspective it could have looked like I rage quit. If I were them I’d assume such.

I’m simply not a rage quitter. Never have been. Never will be.

I say this all the time. We have no control over others. I’m not sure about why you can’t avoid players that leave early. What could be done, is wait for the match to end, go to recent players list and avoid said player from there. If you don’t remember their battle tag, review the match and watch for the leaver and go from there.

Hopefully this helps a bit.
