It’s a nice QOL change and everything… but devs hardly listen to forums, and even then there is a lot the overwatch devs have to do.

Theoritically speaking. a gold weapon is a design prespective that needs to be coded in for the hero design themes for the weapons. on off etc
a gold glove designed to fit every sym skin in its own is alot of art design and work and dont forget they got to code in the defualt gold gun and code it so it showcases the right gold glove for the right skin while also displaying it for everyone meanwhile with the gogly eyes they just downloaded the animation from internet and wrote something like
/put eyes on everyone for april fools LOL

To be fair, it was probably really easy to put googly eyes on everyone. Bastion wouldn’t have two googly eyes if they cared.
