Kiriko: I’m going to keep it short with her due to everyone knowing why she is good. I still think she is the second best post launch support we have ever gotten. Her utility is incredibly versatile and she can fit into any team composition. She has some of the highest skill expression out of the support role.

Juno: I honestly believe she is the third best post launch support we’ve gotten, I know it’s only been about a month but I think we’ve seen enough already to see just how good she is. Her speed ring is more versatile then Lucio’s speed boost and the missiles are great once you learn how to properly use them. Her ultimate is also deceptively strong and her mobility has a decent amount of skill expression.
I think that she can fit into almost any team composition like Ana and Kiriko can due to how universal her utility is. TL;DR Alec cooked hard with this hero.
- Lifeweaver: still has design flaws IMO but he has come such a far since his launch. He’s too defensive like Mercy which can be a issue for his team. He brings a unique piece of utility to his team with petal platform and his life grip which is a controversial ability to play with and against. Tree of life is goated for stalling which makes it very good on game modes such as control and flashpoints.
His skill floor is pretty low but I feel like he has a deceptively high skill ceiling, the difference between a heal bot weaver and a good Lifeweaver is a night and day difference. Also I’d like to add that he has become a favorite of mines after Kiriko to play when the enemy is running dive, he’s very durable and grip has saved many of my teammates from D.va deleting them this season.
TL;DR: His design is flawed but he works for the most part
- Illari: I think she is the worst designed support in the game and it isn’t even close. Outside of the mechanical skill requirement for aim which is a universal skill I feel like she has a very low skill ceiling due to there really not being any nuance to what she can do and her versatility is pretty low with her only fitting in a poke backline.
Pylon is just straight up free value, chuck it somewhere that isn’t in the enemy los and will require them to try and off angle to take it out, it’s pretty much a pocket Mercy with the heals it dumps out and turns most matches into a boring stall. On top of that her alt fire heal beam is the highest HPS out of any support but it also burns out quick because of that.
Her DPS output is very consistent and with pylon making it so she can pay attention to her teammates much less then your average support she can set up at an off angle and spam damage, hell it feels like she has a better DPS output then 75% of the DPS roster which is ridiculous for a support hero. She is pretty much a third DPS on her team, which is a problem. Last thing I’ll touch on is her ultimate, very strong when there is no counter play to it but it’s also an ultimate with a ton of counters to it.
TL;DR: Illari is a support with a deeply flawed design that needs her healing power shifted to her alt fire.
