The ELO system doesn’t work, promotion after promotion keeps putting me in bronze 5, even after 7 consecutive victories… please help and I can’t even play competitive with my friends, everyone went up except me.

this has to be a bug right? i was in bronze 1 and i wont 7 games and lost 3 and i’m averaging 18 kills a game with 7 deaths and it promoted me back to bronze 1…
honestly i dont even want to play competitive anymore whats the point?!
