Random Lost Connection to Server. PC, PSE1

Same issue as some of the other users who posted here. Game & Battle net client just disconnects randomly. It could be perfectly fine for few hours or several disconnects within an hour.

Internet is still working fine when the game disconnects. I’ve also tried playing on Asia (TPE1/ICN1) servers and they’ve been DC-free thus far.

Tried just about everything I can to fix it, changed a new router, called my ISP (M1), etc…

I don’t know if it’s a Blizzard problem or an ISP problem but this sure is frustrating as hell since I don’t want to risk playing ranked games with these connection issues.

UPDATE: WinMTR results against 13.250.61.82 below when I caught the DC in action

The WinMTR seems to drop dead after this last hub and does not appear to enter Blizzard’s Network Provider hubs for your region. Usually problems this deep between each of the connection resolves within a few days. Might try to let your ISP know but they may be limited on what they can do.

Appreciate the reply, I’ve already contacted my ISP with the same details, unfortunately the problem has been going on and off for several weeks now.

I’ve been playing on mostly on Asia TPE1 servers instead, occasionally hopping back on PSE1 but have still been encountering the disconnects every time I do so.

I agree. The problem is global and do not depend of ISP. Me and my friends from Austria, Holland, Germany and Poland have same problems while comp games and get disconnected/ cant back/ banned for hours / lose sr.

UPDATE: M1 seem to have changed the routing as it no longer goes through the amazon.sgix.sg node like before. However, the DC issue still seems to persist. I really don’t know what else my ISP can do to help.

Looks like it’s back to running WinMTR in the background while waiting to be disconnected randomly.

Here’s the updated routes:

BassResponse,

We have others on your ISP reporting issues - would you keep running that test, then post the results here for me? I’d like to keep these all in one thread to make the investigation easier.

For those of you who are not on M.1, please search for a thread related to your ISP or post your own thread, including a winMTR test which catches a disconnection.
