Only meta for a few months and is being nerfed hard.This is why this game is dying cuz forums cryers getting there way.

The way the OW community works is that, whatever hero is meta or played a lot , that means they are OP, and they must be deleted from the game. Whether they are OP or not.

I’ve been fine with Doomfist for months. Was one of those “just stay in a good position and focus him” people.
Took my own advice and still got mollywhopped by Doomfist and his annoying combos in some QP warm ups today.

The only thing needed to be done is for the meta to shift.
Last buff DF got was back in June. He wasn’t complained about till the meta shifted to what we have now.
Dive meta was the same DF we have now. No one complained.
Meta shifts and people can’t stop crying about DF.
Tanks and Healers are played a lot now. Guess who DF counters? Healers and Tanks.
Most DPS heroes that counter or give DF a hard time are hardly played or are underpowered in the recent meta(s).
Edit : when the meta shifts again doomfist will be back to not being played much or situational pick. Throw pick after he is nerfed.

I will sincerely miss the Doomfish. Me and him were high flying together when I’m playing the Hamster. Good times. Team wreck squad

You’re right, he wasn’t.
Literally the only buff he received after his hitbox nerf was an extra 5 shields with his passive.
Before he became this apparently unstoppable killing machine he was considered UP and unusable.
He was never OP, the meta just shifted in his favour.

He also has slower shield loss too, right? It goes down slower I think than when he launched
I hate how Doomfist presses Q, and I AM DEAD. He can escape anything and kill me for free and there is absolutely NOTHING I can do about it. I’m an Ana Zenyatta player.

Well its sad, but that’s how it goes. It also proves that people will barely accept the advice on how to deal with Doomfist, even if your suggestions works against him.
As Doomfist, you’re not suppose to punish people for not paying attention to you. You want me to switch of off Ana or Zen? Forget that I shouldn’t have to switch off of Ana or Zen even when I’m getting killed by him so many times. Oh look I’m playing a hero with no mobility and Doomfist ult. Meteor Strike is at the edge of my feet, I guess that means I should walk into and die. Guess what moving in multiple directions is too hard, I should keep moving forward and get myself killed by Meteor Strike. /s

Doomfist has always been complained about… it wasn’t as prominent, but he was still one of the few heroes that was constantly getting complained about.
Not as much as our two fellow forums favorites heroes Genji and Mercy.
People still complained, but you had bigger / other heroes to worry about at the time, but the threads complaining about Doomfist were still there.
People complain regardless of who the heroes is… if I am going be completely honest with you.
I would say his job is to disrupt, as he is a brawler, therefore, his job is to jump in, disrupt and escape. Rinse and Repeat.
And that is the issue that I kept telling people. His counters are seeing very little play time, let alone are pretty weak. Not only that, but I was one of the fews who said that the restriction that grants to the enemies, needs to be toned down.
We will see how these upcoming changes to him and other heroes play out.
Did you know that shields, walls, and moving in multiple directions can save you from Meteor Strike as Ana or Zen?

Sure do! Do you know none of those things work? Doomfist players aren’t stupid. He presses Q = I am dead unless my Zarya teammate happens to be able to bubble me in that exact moment.
There is NO WAY to avoid his ult as Ana or Zenyatta, and if you think there is, you don’t play those characters OR you play at a level where Doomfist players are incompetent.

Ana got a small buff to her ultimate which wasn’t even that big of a deal.
Now people are complaining about her like if she’s overpowered.
The only reason people are picking Ana is because Mercy got nerfed.
DVA has always been complained about.

Haven’t seen a lot of “forum criers” complain about D Va or even Ana for that matter unlike DF.
Also, Ana’s ult buff is a pretty big deal if you think about it.
