Queue is fun =)

Just bread for thought… Everyone wants 2-2-2 in their games, yet nobody wants to play tanks and healers.

DPS players should probably keep an eye out for some upcoming arena shooters, unless you want to spend 50% of your time in queue. 20 minutes wait for 20 minutes pew

ps.
also, overwatch 2 feels more like DLC or WOW expansion than new game.

It’s especially fun when you get a 15+ min queue, a leaver cancels the game, then another 15+ min queue to full hold first point then take the point on first push attack. 30+ mins of queue for not even 5 mins of play time

Wait for the next week when a patch hits PTR where you will be allowed to play anything else while you wait for your queue. This includes:

  1. A new Deathmatch mode designed specifically for people that wait in queues
  2. Arcade
  3. Custom Games
  4. Training range

Role queue is great for those that enjoy skirmish mode. I didn’t sign up for DM or custom.

This is going to make things worse. People who queue support or tank to avoid queue will go back to queueing for DPS. The queue will be more tolerable but it’ll still get longer.

Because that’s exactly what it is.

OW2 is an expansion which introduces new PvE missions, and updated graphics. Everything else will be the same, and people who play competitive/quickplay/other PvP modes will still be playing together with “OW1” players.

The playerbase for PvP will not get split, Blizzard knows that would be a disaster.

by the end of the month at the latest

Tbh I’m tired of seeing how there are DPS players playing the role in incorrect way just because they are tired of waiting for DPS queue.

DPS Moiras, Flanker Reins, etc etc.

I do it too. I have a DPS Ana account I climbed from bronze and it’s hovering mid to high plat at the moment. I can get enough kills to maintain that rank with mechanics alone. I heal too but my healing and damage numbers are usually about the same at the end of the match and most Ana players have ~3x the healing of damage.

There is no “correct way”. Winning and success dictates the “right way”.

Yes there is. Not playing the objective is one of the examples for you.

I am a support main

I do not want 222 in any games

Oh trust me there’s a “Correct way” to play Tank and support, and its easy to suss out the ones who are impatient DPS queuue dodgers: they’re the ones rushing in and dying like a typical DPS locker and seeminly have no idea how to do basic concepts like making space as tank or even bothering to heal anybody, let alone understand healing priority.
