Question about 'ranking up'

I would say the thing here is you are a little too focused on the outcome. It doesn’t matter whether you win or lose. It doesn’t even matter what your team does or doesn’t do. The only thing that matters is what you do. That is the point of checking replays. If you played a perfect game and your team still got stomped, you should walk away happy because of your play. I’ll see if I can find your VOD.

Nope. Wasn’t perfect. No game is.

Think I got all the feedback that I need on the vod, thanks. Moira’s not exactly big brain to play.

Just trying to build habits of actually looking at team summaries, ult statuses, having a look around corners, behind me, etc.

All super obvious stuff, but after 1000+ levels of play I’ve got some real bad gameplay habits that I need to break.

A lot of the stuff is helping me with tank play as well. Just being a tad more deliberate in my play and less auto pilot. Managing 5-1 kd with Orisa in my latest games and 80% win rate with her as well
Again very small sample size).

Not going to bother with dps. I’m at least 300 sr overplaced and I’m soft throwing every time I play it. And not a fan of 10+ minutes queue time either.

Oh well, already found it and gave my feedback. You have a lot to work on to continue your climb higher.

If this were true, I wouldn’t have made so many comments. And there wouldn’t be Moira complaint threads on this forum every day. But alas, we know better.

Me either. The whole “role queue allows you to play what you want to play” is just propaganda. In reality, classic is what allows you to play what you want to play. RQ is just forcing me into playing tanks if I want to actually play the game and not sit in a queue.

Where you belong? Oh my, based on whose opinion? A nerdy neckbeard, who designed a “hidden mmr” thingy to incite the masses? The only place I belong is next to my grand-daughters in a museum and not in some random ranking system which is a black box.
I honestly do not understand the merit of said “competitive” system if its rules are not known to everybody.
Play other games than this one as it seems to get under your skin.

This is generally true its not always true, there is an amount of luck when it comes to matchmaking that in a perfect world everyone would get evenly but it is not even concievable to have a perfect way of making sure everyone gets fairly balanced matchs everytime.

The truth here is no matter what anyone says, yes your teammates make a difference, but you cannot control them you can only control how you play, or how you suggest a change in playstyle, the truth is both your teammates do matter, juxtaposed to the fact that you are the only constant in each one of your games… So the best thing to do is focus on your own gameplay.

Coming from someone who has bought new accounts, Hidden MMR does in fact make a huge difference depending on how much you’ve played, but most people consider themselves better than they are, and people tend to fall back to or around where they started when they buy a new account so that its easier to climb. << which it should not be but it is, especially if you play a lot… comp MMR absolutely should be weighted more towards recent activity, how you played when you learned the game doesnt matter. That being said anyone that wants to rank up and is worthy of being in higher rank will eventually rank up.
