If i m not wrong placement matches arr not so much abt einning or losing matches but more abt stats padding. I may be wrong but i would expect u to have better stats and more potential sr than ur brother .
Hopefully it is also normalized by the ennemy rank so all in all it shouldnt affect too much ur expected placement ? Hopefully ?
