PvE is coming back

AlSo has a ton of information that you failed to include as well but you chose one thing.

So there’s that

Just saying if you are going to make a statement claiming you know what happened I would recommend putting it all in or it seems as if you don’t know what you’re talking about.

You mean like “Maybe the real PvE was the hackers we met along the way”

“I am very smart”

I gave the relevant information. The PvE failure almost exclusively goes back to Jeff Kaplan.

Typical ad hominem
Not surprised at all

Still missing important pieces but you do you

Have a great day

Name ONE game where it’s just PvP and behind a paywall. I’m asking just ONE.

I’ll wait.

Concord doesn’t count, since it clearly showed that nobody today is paying for a PvP only game with no PvE and failed horribly because of it… and other things.

PVE was cancelled because it would not have generated any money for Blizzard and would have divided the playerbase between PvP and PvE.
Whole idea of OW2, IMO, is to generate recurring money for Blizzard. PvE would not have done that because, well, PvE players are not motivated enough to buy skins.

Sad.

Yeah because was unfinished and also bad judging by what was released.

Not really. This is the same as saying the archives have divided the community.

Exactly, the scope completely ballooned. It should have been missions with a very small range of selectable heroes for each one.

ahh ok. I am assuming their PvE would have been similar to Elden Rings where the entire PvE is like 30-40 hours long… hmmm maybe not.

Right now, OW’s version of PvE are these miniature size PvE like Junkenstien’s Lab and the one we got during Moira’s mythic season.

The funny thing is I am sure that when they did the limited time London PvE mission (the night time one), they said it was the first in a series of free PvE missions. But it never even returned.

The poor matchmaking quality already makes my opponents feel like they are playing PVE because they are so much higher rank/skill than me, they likely just assume I’m an AI.

Overwatch 1?

Thats not a scam

They just proved they can have a kind of talent system with Junkensteins Lab!

Ahahaha,ty very much.A good laugh was really needed here!

The PvE experience of Overwatch is battling your inner dialogue to get you off the game.

I think it severely underperformed and just no one cared so they silently moved on

Nah, the 9 new heroes, two new core game modes, 14 new maps, several map reworks, consistent balance patches, and occasional fun random event modes :hugs:

PUBG. The grandfather of BR games. Yawn. Idk if you know this but most games were either sub based or box price before the F2P monetization model wave hit. regardless of if they were PvP or PvE or both.

There’s a misconception that people wanted PvE. We didn’t want PvE, we wanted an actual sequel with a multiplayer campaign and talent trees with progression. We didn’t get a sequel.

why would they do that when they could just sell skins?
