Update Every Frame
Evaluate Once takes ~400 lines of workshop code in one my modes and reduces it down to 10-15 lines.
Update Every Frame makes environment target systems more fluid.
Why bring back the Hammond “bugfix” when it was universally hated?
This update is simply amazing ^^ So many great changes
Edit: Some of my personal favorites:
- Color re-evaluation
- Increased max script size
- Custom colors
- Log to inspector
- Evaluate once
- Substrings (string slices), string length, string contains
- Progress bars
- Option for player outlines to be visible through walls
- Wait until
- Set Knockback dealt and received
Edit2: I just noticed there is an alpha value for custom colors that can can be used to create semi-transparent hud texts, in-world texts, icons, and player outlines! (seemed to have no impact on the sphere effect I tested it with so it may not have an impact on effects)
It’s a different fix. Best of both worlds.

Is the latency thing exclusive to custom games or is it applied to regular games as well?

This is a great update! It brings pretty much everything workshop was still missing and some more really cool and nice stuff. Some stuff like “evaluate once” and “progress bars” are great qol changes, wich make things significantly easier.
“Is that everyone?”
“What, you wanted more?!”
(Actually, I do: Skins, emotes and voicelines are still missing for dummy bots. These additions would be greatly appreaciated by all of us PvE and AI mode creators )
