The self healing that Brigitte has on LIVE is the self healing she needs (16 hps). The 10 hps on PTR makes it really difficult for Brigitte to sustain herself, which makes absolutely zero sense because if Brigitte will be played in 2-2-2 she’ll drain more resources from her other healer.
Brigitte’s 200 health shield is a gimmick in it’s current state. It really needs to be at least 300-400 health. The entire point of Brigitte’s shield is to allow her to close the distance so she has a chance of getting to use her melee range weapon and use her passive. If the Devs want to keep Brigitte’s shield health this low, she’ll need her primary weapon reworked. Melee range with low barrier health, non-tank HP, low self healing and low mobility is an oxymoron
Imagine if Reinhardt’s barrier got nerfed from 2000 to 800. Would any compensation buffs make up for that?
brig is fine you just have to play more careful now and she is more niche now overall its great… people who abused this hero to climb to high elo will now rank down where they belong
She is the support with the worst self-heal now. All because of a paper-thin 200hp shield that barely protects anything. Everyone hero can basically kill it with half a clip.
Now if she was a hero that had ranged damage so she could hang back while healing and procc inspire at the same time, it would be good. But she can’t because she has to go into the enemies’ faces to actually self-heal. She needs more survivability for sure.
10 HPS is fine, what makes it so bad is the fact that she can’t get close without being blown up anymore. 200 HP shield actually sucks, Soldier can destroy it in less than a second crazily enough. If she could consistently keep Inspire up she’d be fine though but the Shield doesn’t allow her to do that anymore.
the self heal nerf was the nerf she needed many nerfs ago.
idk why the also nerfed her shield so hard, i think her shield being 400 is fine.
i dont think her charging in in front of her tanks and somehow getting away with it is fine.
Bingo. Currently it looks like the only proper way to activate and sustain inspire is to constantly be landing Whip Shoots. Which means she will no healing outside her repairs packs during poke phases (and there are a lot of those)
Her barrier is 2 weak to last against a single dps for more then a second which exposes THE LARGEST SUPPORT MODEL IN THE GAME. She’s huge man, as large as Zarya.
Not to mention breaking her barrier denies her the CC she has. The only time she can properly brawl is when the fight is already over.
The other issue is that even if you’re landing Whip Shots. That’s less damage than you would’ve done in melee range and Brigitte’s Rally cost got increased by 22% so…
I still dont know why they did that. She never has her ult when the rest of her team does now. And Rally isnt even as good as the other support ults of that nature.
