Right, but I believe this is an unintentional error. They see pros do it, don’t understand it is because pros are discouraged from typing after individual games, so make a single GGS at the end of all of their games, and emulate incorrectly. It’s easier to correct behavior like this than the assumedly toxic, intentional chat you are referring to.

Yes. GR after a round is correct as well. You could technically say GRs at the end of a game, but most people look at the bigger picture and say GG.

Incorrect. Since the 1990s, GG has been used to say “good game” to everyone in the game. The pluralization came from series of multiple games.
